 Our Personal Care Attendants provide compassionate, hands-on support that helps clients live safely and comfortably at home. PCAs assist with essential daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal hygiene, while also offering companionship and encouragement. They work closely with each client — and their families — to follow individualized care plans that respect personal preferences, promote independence, and maintain dignity. At Miles of Smiles, every PCA is trained, background-checked, and dedicated to delivering care that is both professional and personal. 

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Helping with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Supporting personal hygiene and toileting needs
• Preparing and serving meals according to dietary needs
• Providing medication reminders (non-medical)
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and home organization
• Running errands and grocery shopping 
• Accompanying clients to appointments and social activities
• Observing and reporting changes in the client’s condition to supervisors

• Minimum 18 years of age. 
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in home care, assisted living, or caregiving.
• Must be dependable, compassionate, and patient.
• Ability to follow written and verbal care instructions
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if transporting clients).
• Must pass a background check and meet state program requirements.
